The Lénablou Center of Dance and Choreographic Studies (CDEC), created in 1990 is located in the “Assainissement” district at Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe. It is today a benchmark in the art of dance training because of its rigour, the quality and the results of its teaching. Indeed, four of its pupils have integrated prestigious international schools (the National Academy of Paris, Rudra Béjart Ballet Lausanne and Ailey School in New York).
The CDEC is a true resources point which never cease to impel ambitious projects in order to develop dance in Guadeloupe and to make it radiate abroad. One can quote:
Lastly, the CDEC underlies an artistic role but prolongs its intentions in the social measure, where the references which indicate the construction of a being are present and make CDEC a school of life.
